The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
The vision of Troop 2379 is to reinforce the mission of the Boy Scouts of America by offering our scouts the opportunity to live the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives; growing with their patrol brothers and looking outside their personal world.
Our activity focus as a troop is the outdoors; whether it be camping, backpacking, hiking or bicyling. Our goal is to do it together.
Troop 2379 meets every Tuesday evening at the Elks' Lodge in Canyon Country: 17766 Sierra Highway. The last Tuesday of the month is usually a non-meeting evening, scheduling the Greenbar meeting for the Patrol Leaders Council. We're always happy to have visitors join us.
Our chartering organization is the Elks' Lodge 2379. The Elks are a fraternal order with nearly a million members and a 141-year history, a network of more than 2000 lodges in communities all over the country, a generous charitable foundation that each year gives millions in scholarships, an inspiration to youth, a friend to veterans and more.
